Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a range of treatments and procedures, including medication administration, nutrition management, and pressure care, ensuring residents' comfort and well-being.
- Conduct thorough clinical assessments, monitoring vital signs and collecting data to inform effective care plans.
- Manage wound care and support residents with diabetes and chronic diseases, promoting optimal health outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and standards, maintaining the highest level of ethical and professional conduct.
- Uphold residents' dignity, cultural sensitivity, and rights while maintaining accurate and comprehensive documentation of care processes.
- Demonstrate accountability for decisions and actions, contributing to continuous quality improvement initiatives within the facility.
- Advocate for residents' autonomy and legal capacity, while establishing clear professional boundaries to ensure ethical care delivery.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, utilizing delegation, supervision, and referrals to enhance resident outcomes and safety.
- Provide residents with information, education, and support, fostering a culture of learning and empowerment within the community.
- Minimum 6 months clinical experience as an RN in Australia
- Valid Australian working rights / visas
- AHPRA Registration
- Knowledgeable of relevant legislation and regulations governing clinical practice.
- Proficient in interpersonal and written communication.
