Country Nursing and Midwifery Incentive Program

About this role: Registered Nurse - Inpatients: The primary responsibility of the Registered Nurse is to delivery comprehensive evidence based nursing care for patients within the scope of practice of a Registered Nurse.

Hedland Health Campus officially opened its doors on 17th November 2010 as the Regional Health Care Hub for the Pilbara after significant building works were completed to update the original Port Hedland Hospital. It also provides valuable support to smaller regional sites including Newman Health Campus, Marble Bar Health Clinic and Nullagine Nursing Post. Built on Colebatch Way next to Karlarra House residential aged - care facility, it provides Pilbara residents with access to specialists in one location. Some of the Health Campus' services include but are limited to: 24/7 emergency dept, Aged care services, Allied health services, Day surgery and Outpatient units, Mental health, drug and alcohol services, High dependency unit, Inpatient unit, Medical imaging, Maternity and obstetric service, Paediatric unit, Pharmacy, Population health services, Renal dialysis, Telehealth and Visiting specialists across various specialities.
