We are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Registered Nurse looking to thrive in our supportive close-knit team.
This is a casual role with the opportunity to progress to a permanent position. The remuneration package is negotiable depending on skills and experience.
The successful candidate will need to have a professional, mature outlook with exceptional communication and administration skills. Your role will be to provide support to patients and doctors.
Job tasks and responsibilities include:
- Triage and assessment of patients.
- Wound management
- Immunisations (including an understanding of Vaccines and the National Immunisation Program)
- Minor Procedural Assistance
- ECG's
- Spirometry
- Cold Chain Management
- Infection Control Management
- Maintaining recall and reminder systems
- Stock ordering and management.
- Chronic Disease Management
- GP Management Plans
- Health Assessments
Skills and experience
- Registered Nurse
- General Practice experience would be preferable but not essential.
- Current AHPRA registration
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritise your workload and confidence in working autonomously.
- Experience in Best Practice would be desirable.
