This is a Recruitment Pool for Permanent Full Time, Permanent Part Time, Fixed Term Full Time and Fixed Term Part Time appointments. Part Time appointments will be made with a minimum of 50 hours per fortnight. Fixed Term appointments will be made with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency.

About this role

The position, under the direction of the relevant Senior Registered Nurse(s), practises as a Registered Nurse in keeping with the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Board Registration Standards and Nursing Practice Decision Flowchart; provides comprehensive evidence-based nursing care to patients as part of a multidisciplinary team; upholds and functions within the core values of the organisation and nursing values of Care, Respect, Innovation, Teamwork & Integrity.

What we are looking for

We are seeking Registered Nurses for the positions identified:

  1. Scrub/Scout Theatre Nurse with a minimum of 2 years experience
  2. Anaesthetic Nurse with a minimum of 1 year experience.

Post Anaesthetic Care Unit (PACU) is not essential for employment however is a mandatory requirement of both positions, upskilling will be provided if you do not have this experience/skill.

On call roster is a mandatory provision of this role and accommodation distance MUST be within a 30 minute radius to accommodate the operational requirements.

About us

Osborne Park Hospital (OPH) provides specialist health care services for the community in the north metropolitan area and is located in Stirling, 14 kilometres from the Perth central business district. The hospital provides a comprehensive range of specialist health care services for the north metropolitan suburbs. The services at OPH are provided by three main specialties consisting of Rehabilitation and Aged Care Services and Younger Adult Rehabilitation, Surgical Services and Women’s & Newborn Services. Each of these specialties has a dedicated Allied Health Services Team.

Osborne Park Hospital provides elective surgery for specialties; Orthopaedics (including joints arthroplasty), Urology, Plastics, Neurosurgery, ENT, General Surgery, Breast surgery, Vascular, Ophthalmology, Gynaecology and Obstetrics.
