AddressWe are looking for a part time Registered or Enrolled Nurse for our Dawesville Medical Centre practice
Our practice provides a friendly, flexible work environment with ongoing training support and opportunity for career development.
We are looking for someone part time who can work 3 days per week, with the option of working a Saturday as one of those days.
You are required to provide quality care to a diverse mix of patients through;
- Chronic Disease Management including Care Plans & Health Assessments
- Immunisations & vaccinations
- ECG's & Spirometry
- Wound care/dressings
- Assisting doctors with minor surgical procedures
- Daily co-ordination of the treatment room, stock control and medical equipment maintenance
- Implementing and practicing infection control
- Identifying & contributing to the development of our patient educational needs.
Essential Criteria:
- Current unrestricted Nurses Registration with AHPRA
- Current CPR certification
- Current Immunisation Certificate (Understanding Vaccines)
- Experience as a Practice Nurse or a similar role
- Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
- Proficiency with IT systems & their use
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
- Caring & collaborative approach to patient care
- Proven multi-tasking, problem solving and time management skills.
