We are currently seeking passionate Night Duty Registered Nurses to join our team at Bethanie Dalyellup located in the coastal suburb of Dalyellup in South Bunbury, WA.
Bethanie Dalyellup is our brand-new aged care home, with 6 themed houses including 2 dementia specific wings and facilities including a café, bar and hair salon in a beautifully appointed, two-storey contemporary aged care home with 120 beds.
These roles are currently being offered on a permanent part time or full time basis to cover a range of Night Duty shifts working 11:00pm – 7:15am with the below available days – let us know what suits you!
Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday & Sunday
Week 2: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday & Sunday
This role is also available for a RN in charge for Night Duty shifts which attracts a Level 2.1 RN rate.
About the Role:
By working as a Registered Nurse at Bethanie aged care, you'll have the chance to make a meaningful difference to the lives of those you're looking after.
Takes immediate action to ensure nursing care is delivered in a safe and effective manner providing direction to enrolled nurses and care workers
Directs and coordinates care given by care workers and enrolled nurses
Completes assessment and/or admission requirements
Ensures care plan changes reflect any change of care recipient’s condition
Ensures that clinical records reflect care, in line with all accreditation standards and legislative requirements
Provides coaching/mentoring/training to staff along where required
About You:
Currently registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Relevant Clinical experience in the Aged Care environment including a solid understanding of the Aged Care Accreditation Standards
Ability to work independently and professionally
Ability to motivate staff and promote a positive work environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills and able to confidently use clinical information systems
Commitment to a person-centred care approach when providing care services
