Finance & Business Officer

Our NSW Government client is hiring for a highly capable Finance & Business Officer. Utilising SAP systems to a high level, this role provides support to the wider business on procurement, commercial and other administrative matters. Experience in Accounts Receivable, and Accounts Payable Procurement is seen as essential.

Role Title: Finance & Business Officer

Contract Length: Till 03/10/2024 with a chance of extension

Hourly Pay: $50 - 60 + Super per hour.

Location: Centennial Park, 2021 (3 days in office)/WFH Hybrid

Role Requirements:

• Provide support and guidance to the Business units staff on procurement, commercial and other administrative matters.
• Assist in the maintenance and reconciliation of accounts in SAP project and Finance systems.
• Assist Project Managers with accurate allocation of capital, revenue and expense to WBS, profit centre, cost centre and General ledger accounts.
• Prepare accurate and timely reconciliation schedules ensuring compliance with the requirements of the reconciliation register.
• Provide a range of financial support functions including the preparation of P&L statements and coordination for divisions and production and checking of financial reports for management.
• Complete timely and accurate processing of journals ensuring operational requirements are met.
• Review systems and processes and recommend improved methods where opportunities exist.
