About the role
In this role, you will be working alongside a small team of nurses within Medical Imaging. This involves working closely with the radiologists to perform interventional procedures including, but not limited to, nephrostomy and PICC line insertions, biopsies and aspirations under imaging guidance, nerve root and epidural injections, joint injections and drainages. You will also be required to assist in the care of patients within the department or other imaging procedures.
This is an opportunity to further develop your aseptic skills, whilst working along a team of nurses with a range of skill levels and experience.
We are looking for
- A nurse with current AHPRA registration
- Efficient management of inpatient and procedural needs through the direction of other nursing staff.
- A positive attitude and a demonstrated ability to communicate in a collaborative and respectful manner with interdisciplinary staff.
- Postgraduate qualifications in Medical Imaging nursing or other relevant interventional study would be viewed favourably.
