Registered Nurse (Casual/ Part Time/ Full Time)

About the Role
HHCC is looking for passionate Registered Nurses to join the team and assist in providing the best care for our residents. We are looking for individuals who align with our company values of Imagination, Bold, Respectful, Compassionate and are able to demonstrate these on a daily basis.
This full-time position will allow a dedicated nurse to use their clinical experience, problem solving skills and holistic approach in the disability setting. Working as a nurse in a disability support services organization is a very dynamic and interesting role where no two days are the same!
Qualifications and Experience
- Current AHPRA registration
- Minimum 1year experience working as a Registered Nurse in Disability/ Medical or Mental Health is essential; Community Nursing experience is desirable; training and induction provided
- Demonstrated clinical skills including PEG and catheter care, wound and stoma care, clinical assessments, disability and chronic disease management
- Client assessment experience across a broad scope of disability and health issues
- Advanced inter-personal and communication skills
- In-Depth Knowledge and understanding of NDIS is essential
- Ability to lead a team
- Responsible for staff training
- A passion for working with people with disability and mental health challenges
- Excellent time management skills to adhere to deadlines
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with HHCC Managers team to ensure services align with their NDIS package
- Provide personalized training to Support Workers, EN and Nurses as required
- Complete administrative tasks including Care Plans, Reporting, documentation and Care Planning
- Liaise with various Allied health staff to support the residents care plan
- Maintain accurate record keeping and communication
- Collaborate with the Personal Care Assistants and the Service Coordinator
- Analyze the effectiveness of care services and identify risks
- Assist in preparing NDIS support documentation within the timeframe requested.
- Oversee clinical assessment process to ensure that each of our resident’s complex care needs are identified and regularly reviewed, reassessed, and updated in their care plan.
