What you'll be doing
AM, PM and Night Duty shifts are available.
Key duties and responsibilities for the RN will include:
- Manage general duties in the facility including allocating workloads according to resident’s needs and staff skills and experience.
- Maintain a professional RN scope of practice directly and as part of the multidisciplinary clinical care team.
- Provide appropriate levels of supervision to care staff to ensure the professional delivery of services in line with the organisation’s values and policies.
- Ensure all assigned assessments, tasks and documentation are carried out so as to meet the objectives of professional clinical care, accreditation and funding requirements.
- Ensure all residents’ rights, confidentiality and privacy are maintained in all matters, regarding resident’s right to individual choice and independence.
What skills & attributes will I need?
- Current AHPRA Registration
- Previous experience in aged care, desirable
- Proven capability and experience in leading a team
- Ability to communicate with residents, families and all levels of staff
- Willingness to undertake Police Check
- Full Australian working rights
- Fully vaccinated (3 COVID-19 vaccines).
