The Role
Cabrini's Day Oncology and Infusion Centre offers our patients access to a comprehensive range of cancer treatments including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and infusion services. We are seeking a Registered Nurse with a desire to build upon their current clinical experience to work as part of the team to cover Maternity Leave.
The key responsibilities will include:
Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care in collaboration with individuals and the multidisciplinary healthcare team
Demonstrating attention to the needs of the patient and family to maintain privacy, dignity, and confidentiality
This position is to cover Maternity Leave on a full-time basis.
About you:
We are seeking a Registered Nurse with relevant experience in Infusion Treatment and with an interest in further developing skills to deliver excellent patient care within the framework of the Cabrini Mission and Values.
Along with your commitment to quality patient care and outcomes, you will have the following:
Relevant nursing qualifications
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
Victorian Working with Children Check
Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role, including experience in Infusion Treatment
Must have cannulation, PICC, and Port experience
Cytotoxic administration preferred or willingness to learn
Enthusiasm for participation in a team environment
Excellent customer service focus and communication skills
