About the Role
Catholic Homes is seeking experienced and motivated full-time and part-time Registered Nurses to join the team at our new facility Sister Mary Glowrey located in Belmont.
Sister Mary Glowrey has the latest facilities including modern staff amenities which is designed to cater to all our residents’ and staff needs by making most of its large light-filled spaces and central location. Located near the Swan River, just off the Great Eastern Highway near Belmont Primary School. It is close to local transport, Belmont Forum, Victoria Park and Perth City centre. Sister Mary Glowrey delivers a high standard of comfort and care services with a relaxed, family friendly and home-like ambiance for our residence and staff.
The successful applicant will receive ongoing support and guidance from the manager and senior care team.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Delivering skilled nursing, clinical, personal and end-of-life care for Residents according to care plans
- Acting as a role model, providing nursing leadership, by working collaboratively with all members of the multi-disciplinary team, complying with the clinical governance framework, quality management systems and Catholic Homes’ model of care
- Completing Resident assessments and developing, evaluating and reviewing care plans on an ongoing basis
- Recognising Residents’ changing health care needs and initiating timely referrals to internal and external providers in consultation with the Resident and their authorised representative.
The successful candidate with have / be:
- Current Registered Nurse registration through AHPRA
- Enthusiastic and positive demeanor
- Passion and dedication for working with the elderly
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability and commitment to uphold high standards of work
- Experience working in Aged, Health or Community care desirable
