The Opportunity:
Albury Wodonga Health, Special Care Nursery is seeking Registered Nurses with a passion for Neonatal Care to join our team. As a Registered Nurse you would work alongside a team of experienced Neonatal Nurses to provide evidenced based, family centred care to Neonates and their families.
We are looking for Registered Nurses who have an interest and passion for Neonatal Nursing and caring for sick and premature babies. You will be supported through an orientation program and ongoing educational opportunities. You will also be mentored by a close knit team of Neonatal Nurses to provide timely practice to Neonates and their families.
You will possess excellent problem solving skills and interpersonal communication. You will demonstrate a commitment to quality improvement and professional development of yourself and others.
You will be part of a tight knit, supportive team who endeavour to provide the best clinical and developmental care to neonate and their families.

Albury Wodonga Health (AWH) is the largest regional health service between Sydney and Melbourne, located in the twin cities of Albury and Wodonga. Our Special Care Nursery operates as a Level 4 service caring for babies born at 32 weeks and above, and 1500grams birthweight and above. We provide care to around 450 neonates per year, with approximately 40 transfers to tertiary centres. Our service provides non invasive ventilation to neonates, including bubble CPAP and High Flow. Our staff also assist with intubation and ventilation of neonates requiring stabilisation prior to transfer to tertiary centres.
About you:
Current registration with AHPRA, and a Victorian working with children’s check
Experience in Neonatal Nursing is Desirable
A strong commitment to the delivery of family centred care
Excellent communication, organisation and leadership skills
Dedicated, empathetic and adaptable.
Understand the complex and varied presentations cared for in the SCN
