Registered Nurse

This is for a Permanent, Fixed Term or Casual appointment at various hours per fortnight, with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency

 An opportunity exists for a talented and enthusiastic Registered Nurse to join the team at Meekatharra Health Service – Midwest.

 To be successful, you will have...

• Competent nursing practice within the relevant practice setting including evidence of triage competency and other basic competencies to provide safe and quality patient’s care.
• Competence in planning, coordination and decision making in the management of patients, within the relevant practice setting.
• Effective communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills and ability to function as a team member.
• Demonstrated incorporation of quality and risk management within practice.

Position Profile:

Undertakes the daily management of the delivery of quality patient and resident services, through the efficient and effective utilisation of human, physical and material resources.

The Country Nursing & Midwifery incentive program is available to new and existing nurses and midwives - across a broad range of patient-facing roles - on fixed term or permanent contracts at 76 select locations. Eligible nurses and midwives can receive between $5,000 and $17,000 in support over 12 months (WA Country Health Service - Country Nursing and Midwifery Incentive Program).
