Experienced Registered Nurses have the chance to become part of the vibrant Cardiac Ward at a private hospital in Adelaide, where exciting opportunities await. Both permanent Full-Time and Part-Time positions are currently open.
ABOUT THE ROLE As a Registered Nurse, your responsibilities will include the following:

• Delivering quality nursing care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individual patient care;
• Providing a standard of care according to the individual's level of experience and education, maintaining high-quality nursing care within a safe environment;
• Developing and utilizing strategies that encourage an atmosphere conducive to effective communication;
• Working in partnership with patients and families in decision-making regarding the provision of care, promoting beneficial relationships;
• Being a leader and educator to staff and students.

REQUIREMENTS

• Current AHPRA registration;
• Previous cardiac experience (Graduate Diploma desirable);
• South Australian DHS Working with Children Clearance;
• Ability to lead by example, demonstrating professionalism and culture;
• Committed to continuous quality improvement;
• Committed to the provision of quality Nursing care, Education, and customer service;
• Proven communication and interpersonal skills;
• Demonstrated understanding of National Safety and Quality Service Standards, ACHA policies and procedures;
• Proven ability to effectively manage under pressure with competing demands;
• Ability to work flexible hours;
• Positive attitude towards leadership, and potential management skills.

REMUNERATION A salary ranges between $31.07-$53.49 per hour, based on years of relevant nursing experience.
ABOUT THE FACILITY The hospital, located in Adelaide, is a modern 152-bed acute facility providing a range of specialties, including obstetric, cardiac, critical care, orthopaedic, surgical, and medical services. The hospital has 9 operating theatres, a procedure room, 3 angiography labs, an Infusion Suite, a 24/7 Cardiac Emergency Service, and a 10-bed level 3 critical care unit.
