- Monitoring national and international gambling public policy development, including legislative and regulatory changes.
- Contributing to national gambling public policy development through participation in legislative, regulatory and policy review processes.
- Contributing to the development, review and maintenance of Entain strategic policy positions on key regulatory matters.
- Liaising with Entain PLC representatives in relation to Australian regulatory policy and Safer Gambling strategy activities and best practices.
- Working with research partners to identify opportunities for improvements in Safer Gambling systems, policies, practices and tools.
- Identifying opportunities to strengthen Safer Gambling systems, policies, practices and tools.
- Contributing to the development of, and monitoring of performance against, organisational Safer Gambling key metrics.
- Acting as a key point of contact for Commonwealth and state and territory regulators and Safer Gambling stakeholders.
- Contribute to optimising the understanding of Safer Gambling and Regulatory Strategy matters amongst the broader business to leverage their support, by identifying additional training, consultation and/or communication opportunities.
- Previous experience in gambling, policy and/or research environments or within heavly regulated industries.
- A strong understanding of the gambling industry and the gambling regulatory environment or the ability to quickly gain such an understanding.
- You must be a team player, but you must also be able to work independently and autonomously as required.
