An exciting new opportunity has opened up for an Impact Reporting & Strategy Manager to join our team at World Vision Australia. This is a permanent full- time opportunity.
As Impact Reporting & Strategy Manager, your role is to lead a high performing team that connects and enhances WVA’s ability to demonstrate evidence of impact in organisational wide strategic initiatives, Impact Reporting and philanthropic and institutional donor engagement.
Sitting within World Vision Australia’s Field Impact team, reporting to the Head of Impact & Strategy, you will be responsible for:
- Managing a high performing team specialising in evidence translation and Impact Reporting
- Leading a portfolio of cross-functional projects with a strong focus on improving the way programmatic impact is translated, reported and communicated with institutional and philanthropic donors and within the organisation.
- Key point of contact for Marketing and Private Funding, aligning field programs with donor opportunities and fundraising offers.
- Lead the team in translating evidence that is aligned to the organisation’s go-to-market team’s donor requirements, producing content that is easily accessible and useable for go-to-market teams to use in donor reports, communications and events, helping to increase donor engagement and trust.
- Help the Department to continue embedding the Impact Management System, including strengthening the connection between World Vision Australia’s Evidence Building and Research Agenda, Institutional Market engagement and drawing upon insights to inform relevant Corporate Strategic initiatives. As well as supporting the annual review of the International Field Footprint Strategy
Who we’re looking for
You will be a natural values-based leader with high integrity, and a passion for bringing to life the credible account of change World Vision programs are having, creating tangible trusted connections between the field and market.
You will have:
- High level of interpersonal skills with the ability to produce clear and accurate communications that are appropriate for their intended audience
- Strong stakeholder management and ability to work positively and effectively across teams
- A can do creative thinker who is skilled in relationship management and navigating complexity
- Demonstrated experience in leading and strengthening teams
- Strong understanding of the international development context and key issues, including Australian market needs around evidence and impact
- Experienced with, and deep understanding of, institutional and philanthropic donors
- Understanding of Design Monitoring and Evaluation, theories of change and outcomes measurement
- Project management and change management skills/experience
- Bachelor degree in a relevant discipline – International Development, Strategy, Business, Marketing, Research
