About the Role
The Return-to-Work Coordinator is responsible for end-to-end management of Workers Compensation Claims and fit for work cases nationally. The focus is early intervention and Returning staff to Work depending on the level or functionality as outlined by the treating Medical Practitioner.
The role will contribute to developing and implementing the right systems, practices, methodologies, education, and documentation to enable consistent approach to injury management wellbeing.
The role will include:
- Actively, promote and support a safety culture.
- Drive claim outcomes to increase Return to Work and reduce claim cost with insurer.
- Manage workers compensation claims and fit for work cases nationally in accordance with RTW injury management procedures.
- Providing technical WHS/injury management and wellness advice nationally to internal stakeholders.
- Provide injury management and best outcome Return to Work advise and support to employees.
About You
Our Return to Return-to-Work Coordinator will bring a genuine passion to make a difference in the lives of our staff that support young people and our communities, holding certain attributes and demonstrated knowledge and abilities.
- Qualification in WHS or related field.
- Return to work coordination certification and or qualification.
- Demonstrated expertise in Workers Compensation legislation and associated processes nationally.
- Current knowledge of Workers Compensation claims management systems and best practice concepts and demonstrated Return to work Management experience.
- Demonstrated experience working with professionals such as occupational rehabilitation providers, medical specialists, allied health staff, WorkSafe and Insurance Agents.
- Ability to collaborate with stakeholders to deliver positive outcomes.
Applicants must be eligible to live and work in Australia, hold an unrestricted driver's licence, and be willing to undergo state-specific checks, including working with children clearance and relevant qualifications.
