Right now, we’re seeking Rehabilitation Coordinators who will play their part in this shared purpose. The TAC is currently seeking Rehabilitation Coordinators who want to take a collaborative approach in supporting clients achieve their return to work goals and/or Rehabilitation Coordinators who want to take a collaborative approach to meet their life back on track goals. The TAC seeks individuals who’ll bring their authentic selves to work, demonstrate compassion and care, and collaborate in a team to improve the everyday — for Victorians, our colleagues and our partners.
About the role
The Rehabilitation Coordinator proactively manages a portfolio of clients to achieve optimal client outcomes through relationship building, expectation setting, effective communication with stakeholders, making sound claim liability decisions and developing holistic claims management strategies. The role focuses on returning people back to work and health using early intervention strategies and sound stakeholder engagement. This can also include targeted interventions and re-setting expectations with stakeholders.
About the Team
These roles will sit within the Back to work Back to Health and the Recovery Support Branches. You will be joining a supportive and collaborative team who are focused on building good client outcomes. You will be supported by a Manager who is approachable and promotes a collaborative work environment.
What we’re looking for
Proven Stakeholder engagement
- Ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure best practice claims management during any stage of a client journey.
- Strong Influencing, negotiation and decision making skills.
- High level resilience and communication skills.
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise and multi task
Ability to achieve optimal client outcomes
- Proven ability to manage decisions on a portfolio or cohort of claims to achieve optimal client outcomes
- Deliver a high level of client service by putting the client at the centre of decision making and communicating claims liability decisions in line with the client service charter
- Experience in a client services environment
