The Remuneration Manager will have the aptitude to understand our complex data and be detailed and accurate from start to finish in developing programs and completing projects related to Remuneration in Australia.
The successful person will proactively partner with our P&C Business Partners & Leadership Stakeholders to identify and address compensation issues and bring to life Genesiscare’s Total Compensation Philosophy and Strategy.
This position supports leaders and employees through consultation, compensation design, performance management, program management, and effective risk governance. The successful candidate will provide credible strategic and tactical consultation on total direct compensation and performance management in support of company and business needs.
What you’ll do:
- Work with on a variety of projects including program design, analysis, and implementation of new programs.
- Perform deep analysis on effectiveness and competitiveness of existing compensation programs and model potential impact of alternatives and future programs.
- Partner with regional and global compensation partners on compensation issues, and work on a variety of compensation projects as needed.
- Provide guidance to the business and develop creative solutions on a variety of total compensation issues including the setting of appropriate pay levels, base pay, annual incentive pay and stock compensation.
- Consult with business on job evaluations using market data and internal evaluation.
- Document processes and build compensation guidelines.
- Partner with the business to develop variable incentive compensation programs, as needed.
- Work with HRIS to ensure that Workday, Payfactors, and other corporate system to meet compensation needs and is updated to reflect programmatic changes.
- Lead and interplay with People Partner and client teams on human capital initiatives within businesses to drive pay for performance talent strategy.
- Update or redesign solutions to business issues via compensation programs or practices.
- Keep up with trends, practices and pay related benchmarks to make annual recommendations for pay mix solutions around salary, incentive, and long-term plans as necessary.
- Monitor federal, state, and local compensation laws and regulations to ensure company compliance.
- Participate in market data and report findings to the business, updating salary ranges as needed.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition to support clients with the development and communication of compensation packages for new hires and existing employees when necessary.
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Commerce, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in finance, compensation, or consulting with an in-depth knowledge of core compensation terminology and best practices
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Familiar with Workday HRIS
- Experience creating & designing and compensation structures
- Analytical and quantitative skills and a track record for planning, doing and auditing work
- Highly detailed driven with emphasis on accuracy, coupled with the ability to see the broader picture
- Ability to create dynamic tools and models to interpret and analyse data
- The ability to work independently, take on responsibility and thrive in a change-oriented environment
- Solid consultation skills and the ability to seek out information and provide quality advice
- Excellent written and oral communication skills for internal presentations that demonstrate business acumen
