Our NSW State Government client provides a diverse range of essential services to reduce criminal activity and enhance protection of the communityAbout the Role
They are currently seeking a Research Analyst to join their growing team in Parramatta with some flexibility to work remotely from home. This an estimated 6month temporary assignment, with a potential to extend.Working within the Policy and Evidence Business Unit, you will be required to undertake analysis, research and evaluation initiatives that inform and improve organisation wide policy development and reform for client outcomes.Responsibilities

• Coordination of internal and external stakeholder requests for data or research
• Establish and maintain effective stakeholder relationships
• Maintain key internal and external data sets to meet analysis and reporting needs
• Undertake and support data cleansing, extraction, analysis, interpretation and reporting from data sets to inform service delivery planning
• Assist with initiatives that identify issues with quality and consistency of data between the organisation and its partner agencies
• Support the design, development and implementation of performance measures, tools and governance processes
• Translate complex research and evaluation terms into language that can be understood by a diverse range of stakeholders
• Maintain up to date knowledge of analysis, modelling, research and evaluation methodologies
• Ensure compliance with best practice and legislative requirements

• Impeccable communication skills, both verbal and written
• Professional, resilient and determined
• Solid analytical, conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
• Superior organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise conflicting deadlines
• High attention to detail
• Strong computer literacy and proficiency with MS Office suite

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years Data Cleansing, Data Analysis or Research Analyst experience
• Willingness to undergo a National Police Check
• Fully COVID vaccinated or medically exempt
• Ability to commence and commit to the duration of the assignment
