An incredible opportunity awaits you to lead the daily operations of the MCRI-led study, "Infant2Child: Optimising nutrition in early life to reduce childhood dental caries. As the Research Coordinator, you will work closely with the lead chief investigator, Dr. Mihiri Silva, and a team of dedicated researchers. Your responsibilities will span the entire spectrum of project management, from the day-to-day implementation of the protocol to managing ethics applications, participant recruitment, and retention strategies. Collaborating with esteemed institutions like Deakin University and the University of Melbourne, we are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join us as the Research Coordinator for this MRFF-funded cohort study.

Your responsibilities include:
- Supervises junior staff and assists in supervising student projects
- Conducts ethical research at the highest level of integrity and in line with the Australian Code for Responsible Conduct of Research and MCRI policies
- Ensure integrity in data collection and ensure compliance with state and national data protection and privacy legislation.
- Contribute to the development of new study/research protocols and ensure the effective management of the study and care requirements of the participants are fully considered
What we need from you:
- Relevant postgraduate qualification
- Demonstrated experience in project management, including planning, monitoring, and evaluation of research projects involving children and/or adolescents
- Experience in developing and facilitating partnerships to build relationships, to achieve joint outcomes
- Highly developed interpersonal skills and ability with experience in managing and influencing a diverse group of stakeholders
