Research Coordinator
- Opportunity for an experienced Research Coordinator to join the Inflammatory Bowel Disease Research Team
- Part Time, Fixed Term position (8 Months )
- Responsible for coordinating the Australian sites of a large international investigator-initiated trial
- Located at the Royal Melbourne Hospital, City Campus

We are looking for passionate and dedicated individuals to join our Inflammatory Bowel Disease and Department of Colorectal Medicine and Genetics research team. This is a (Full Time, Fixed Term position, working 72 hours per fortnight, based at The Royal Melbourne Hospital
Your Opportunity:
- An exciting opportunity to become the Australian Research Coordinator of an international inflammatory bowel disease trial developing and validating an intestinal ultrasound disease activity score for Crohn’s disease
- You will work with, direct and liaise with multiple Australian sites in Victoria, South Australia and Queensland and international sites in North America and Europe
- Our inflammatory bowel disease team is led by A/Prof Britt Christensen and you will work alongside our enthusiastic and experienced research team
- Working alongside PhD students and consultants to help investigator-initiated studies in their coordination, recruitment and data collection
- Degree level education or other relevant further education in nursing, health or science
- Minimum of 2 years’ research experience in healthcare or clinical research or relevant experience demonstrating the appropriate competencies for the role
- High level of reliability and professional conduct
- Excellent time management, attention to detail skill and be able to rigorously adhere to relevant documentation standards
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with external research organisations, sites and stakeholders
- Experience in preparing and submitting clinical trial documents
- Completed Good Clinical Practice (GCP) certification
- Experience in ethics submissions and governance
