About the role
The Regional Research Governance Officer is responsible for the development, implementation, monitoring and reporting of processes relating to research activities in SA & NT. This includes:
Governance and compliance of research processes;
Development of policies and procedures;
Promoting and supporting activities to increase research capacity.
Your main duties will include:
Overseeing governance including ethical and practical considerations of all research studies;
Providing guidance to researchers and commercial stakeholders in relation to research processes
Promoting an ethical research culture and activities including drug trials, research investigations, evaluations, research partnerships; research translation and evidence based practice
About you
You will have:
tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline such as health, science, biomedical, pharmaceutical or biotechnology or demonstrated equivalent experience
Proven knowledge and experience in governance of health research
Experience in facilitating the execution of research agreements;
Current Drivers Licence
