As a key player in our team, you will play a crucial role in shaping and delivering outstanding dining and accommodation experiences for our guests. Whether they are attending a conference, part of a leisure group, or joining us for a delightful dining and room stay, your expertise will contribute to their memorable stay.
About Salter Brothers Hospitality
Salter Brothers Hospitality currently operates 17 retreat hotels and estates; more than 20 restaurants and bars; 8 Spa Anise spas and other wellness facilities; as well as Spicers Scenic Rim Trail, one of the largest ecotourism ventures in Queensland with 38 rooms over five campsites.
This includes 4 luxury brands that are iconic to the Blue Mountains – Lilianfels Resort and Spa, Echoes Boutique Hotel & Restaurant, The Hydro Majestic Hotel and Parklands Country Gardens & Lodges. All properties are approximately a leisurely 90 minutes' drive from Sydney CBD.
Here's what you'll do
- Provide personalised service by assisting guests with reservations, enquiries, special requests, and information about our properties and their amenities;
- Provide personalised assistance to guests, offering information on available dining options, room stays, and packages;
- Utilise reservation systems, including expertise in Opera, and technology to optimise bookings and enhance guest satisfaction;
- Assist in maintaining an organised and up-to-date reservations database;
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of each hotel in our curated boutique luxury portfolio, sharing each hotels uniqueness and charm with every guest;
- Upsell and promote premium room categories, spa, and other offerings to enhance the guest experience;
- Collaborate with other departments such as front desk, activities and spa to ensure the smooth flow of guest services.
This is how you’ll know you’re right for this role
- Previous experience in a reservations, sales or guest services role within the luxury hospitality industry;
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills;
- Familiarity with reservation systems and hospitality software, with a focus on Opera;
- Enthusiastic and proactive attitude towards guest satisfaction;
- Knowledge of the Blue Mountain region and local attractions is a plus;
- Sales and upselling talents;
- Detail-oriented and organised;
- A passion for making every guest's stay extraordinary and joyful.
