Role Overview:
As the Reservations Team Leader, you will oversee a small team of cruise consultants, ensuring excellent customer service and efficient reservations processes. You will also manage travel products and updates, ensuring our offerings remain competitive and appealing to our clientele.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of cruise consultants to achieve sales and service targets.
- Oversee the daily operations of the Reservations Team, ensuring smooth and efficient processes.
- Handle escalated customer inquiries and resolve complex booking issues.
- Monitor team performance, providing feedback, coaching, and training as needed.
- Collaborate with the product team to manage travel products and updates.
- Ensure all travel product information is current, accurate, and effectively communicated to the team and customers.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
- Assist in the recruitment and training of new team members.
- Prepare and present regular reports on team performance and key metrics to management.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a leadership role within the travel or hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of cruise products and the travel industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and lead a team to achieve targets and deliver exceptional customer service.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Proficiency in reservation systems and MS Office applications (Excel preferred)
