CQUniversity Student Residences offer students and guests a safe, secure, and harmonious community lifestyle 24/7. We are currently recruiting for a Residential After-Hours Coordinator at our Capricornia College, which is located on our Rockhampton North campus.
Within this position, you will assist management by effectively supporting Student Residences outside of normal office hours (Monday to Friday), and all day on weekends and public holidays. You will be responsible for overseeing residential life aspects including maintaining and further developing an effective after-hours residential support service, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all our students and guests.
In return, you will be provided with free ensuite accommodation including air conditioning, electricity, internet, an after-hours work mobile, and payment of a fortnightly salary, superannuation, pro rata annual leave and leave loading. Meals will be supplied.

Position Requirements
- Reside at Capricornia College Rockhampton.
- Undergo a Working with Children Check (Blue Card), First Aid and CPR Training.
- Experience in a similar role supporting students and guests, resolving conflicts and concerns, mentoring students, and promptly responding to incidents and emergencies.
- Be accessible after-hours for students, guests and lead the Residential Leader Team.
- Understand the operations of student residences, including issues that affect the personal and social lives of University students and guests.
- Ensuring the effective implementation of all pastoral care and student conduct policies and ensuring all health and safety legislation, regulatory and University policy requirements, and provisions pertinent to all student residential activities and after-hours support are adhered to.
- Possess a current driver license.
