Access the National Relay Service
As a Coordinator (Residential Property), you will provide accurate and timely advice in connection with the management of tenancy issues in respect of the department's residential leasing portfolio.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
Coordinating activities in the Residential Property team and provide advice to senior management in relation to the management of the department's residential leasing portfolio.
Providing advice and direction to the Property Leasing and Property Maintenance Officers in managing the leasing and maintenance of the department's Brisbane based property portfolios.
Undertaking management of tenancy issues including:
Dealing with challenging tenants in a range of tenancy matters, including case managing difficult tenant negotiations
Negotiating with tenants to put payment plans in place for payment of rental arrears and monitoring to ensure plans are adhered to.
Ensuring that all actions are taken in accordance with the requirements under the Residential Tenancies and Rooming Accommodation Act 2008

Requirements of the role
Ability to ensure works tasks are delegated equally amongst team members on a daily basis and internal processes and policies are being followed.
Ability to research and contribute to the development of innovative policies, procedures and systems that support and improve the efficiency and administration of the Residential Property management function.
Keep abreast of legislative changes and safety standards that impact the property management function particularly with regard to rental properties.
