HenderCare Foundation is currently looking for a Residential Care Supervisor to join our growing team!

About the Role
Reporting to the Residential Care Manager, you will oversee the operations of the Residential Care placements within your region, provide dedicated and in-depth supervision to the Team Leaders reporting to you, and support the delivery of high-quality therapeutic care services and ensure that every child or young person placed into the care of the Foundation feels safe, nurtured, and is heard.
You will also:
- Conduct on-site orientation and induction of care teams in licensed Children’s Residential Care Facilities.
- Provide oversight of the development of care teams, including training, supervision and the development of Personal Development Plans (PDPs).
- Support the coordination of ongoing rosters.
- Assist in the management and reporting of risks and concerns to relevant reporting bodies.
- Monitor and report on residential services, including budgets and records, to management.
- Provide and maintain safe work environments as required by both policy and legislation.
*The fixed-term vacancy is for parental leave backfill purposes, and the incumbent has the right to return to their position.

You will also bring:
- At least 2 years experience in the delivery of Residential Care services.
- Sound knowledge of the child protection system in South Australia
- Experience in working with children and young people to address the impacts of trauma.
- Strong coordination and leadership skills to manage and resolve conflicts and issues.
- A Certificate IV Child Youth and Family Intervention or Certificate IV Disability or equivalent.
- Relevant clearances (NPC, WWCC, NDIS) or willing to obtain.
- Hold a current South Australian Driver’s License P2 or above.
- Own a fully registered private vehicle in South Australia, capable of passing an RAA Roadworthiness Report, with Comprehensive Insurance.
- You'll also receive a paid allowance of $0.96 per kilometre accrued during work hours.
