Come and join us for this maximum term opportunity as a Residential Manager to manage our dual site Lewisham Retirement Home & Hostel from May 24 until early January 25.
The key focus areas are
- Managing all operational aspects of the residential aged care home
- Providing leadership and coaching to the clinical, personal care, lifestyle, pastoral care, catering and housekeeping teams
- Working in a safe manner, closely following all policies and procedures and ensuring compliance with quality standards
What you will need to succeed
We are looking for an individual who has experience leading clinical teams within the Aged Care industry. You will have a strong business acumen and be a commercial thinker. You will also ideally have:
- Bachelor of Nursing or similar
- Strong leadership experience with demonstrated abilities across all people management activities
- Thorough understanding of the Aged Care Legislation and Aged care Quality Standards
- Significant experience managing a residential aged care home encompassing clinical care, food services and administration and continue to forge strong relationships with residents and families.
- Strong understanding of Clinical Governance frameworks, AN-ACC programs & accreditation criteria
- Strong leadership experience with demonstrated abilities across all people management activities
- Financial acumen including P & L management
- IT savvy and able to pick up new systems with ease
- Fully COVID vaccinated
