This role is based at one of their large residential aged care homes in the mid north coast of New South Wales.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day operations of this large facility within Coffs Harbour. As part of your team, you will have two clinical managers who will be responsible for the clinical aspects of the home as well as having a centralised team who help support in different areas including Education and Quality and Compliance.
Ideally, you will be a well-seasoned Residential Manager with recent experience in a similar position and be a strong leader across this residential site. Your primary purpose will be to lead the staff and operations of the home and improve quality care outcomes of this facility while building and maintaining a positive, collaborative culture and environment across the site.
Duties
- Daily operational management of the facility
- Maintain occupancy and budget requirements
- Building key stakeholder partnerships in the community
- Provide leadership & direction to staff members
- Ensure resident lifestyle & care needs are met
- Ensure quality & accreditation guidelines are met
- Actively promote a culture of excellence
Skills and Experience
- Current AHPRA registration
- Working experience across Residential Aged Care
- Recent experience in a Residential Manager or in a similar position
- Experience managing staff and providing support to teams
- Understanding of aged care quality standards
- Ability to support a multi-disciplinary team
- Experience and understanding of AN-ACC process
- Strong communication skills
