About the role:-
We are hiring Resort Manager Couple for ourOver 50s Lifestyle Resort in thebeautiful town of Hervey Bay, Queensland. This position is for an experienced Caretaker couple to join the team on a full time basis. Together, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and the excellent presentation of the resort is maintained along with managing the day-to-day operations. Accommodation package is included.
As the Caretakers of our facility your responsibilities include but not limited to:-
- Front office administration, answering resident queries, submitting purchase order requests, onsite contractor management, internal PLG employee management, rostering and training for new employees;
- Oversee sales of homes within the resort;
- Conduct new resident inductions;
- Ensure that the grounds, gardens, common areas and facilities are maintained to a high standard and are always well presented;
- Responsible for general maintenance of the facilities;
- Conduct monthly water meter reads;
- Account keeping of purchase orders and expenditure requests;
- Provide exceptional & timely customer service and communication to internal & external stakeholders;
- Maintain Health & Safety standards throughout the resort;
- Attend Committee Meetings;
- Engage in the community and events.
Ideally you will have:-
- Prior experience in a similar role - either caretaking, real estate or resort based roles will be looked upon favourably;
- Excellent computer/administration skills;
- Experience in regular mowing, whipper snipping and groundswork is essential;
- Experience with resort grade cleaning and facilities management;
- Must hold a current C class licence;
- A hands on approach and enthusiastic attitude;
- Highly developed interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with all stakeholders;
- Problem solving and time management skills including the ability to manage conflicting priorities, meet tight deadlines and maintaining quality;
- A positive attitude.
Please note; included in the package is onsite living accommodation and electricity is provided as part of the salary package to the successful couple.
