Position Purpose
Certis is looking for an enthusiastic rostering professional to join our team based at Sydney Airport. The Resource Planner is responsible in effectively coordinating the forward planning of rosters and operational deployments within our Aviation Security business as well as ensuring coverage of all required shifts within our business. Reporting to the Client Services Manager you will be supporting a network of trainers, Security Officers and Customers ensuring forward planning of rosters, identifying resource shortfalls and that excellent customer service is provided to all stakeholders.
This role is a permanent full-time position based on-site at Sydney Airport, Monday to Friday with working hours falling between 08:00 and 17:00, start and finish times as agreed with your Manager.
Key ResponsibilitiesAs the successful candidate you will be responsible for:
- The update and publication of permanent rosters to align to operational needs ensuring allocation and coverage of national rosters meeting operational requirements.
- Ensuring set up of new account rosters.
- Annual Leave coverage and liability across the team.
- Liaise with customers and contractors regarding security requirements and ensuring customer expectations are met.
- Ensure all rosters meet legislative / award / internal policy requirements.
- Managing positive interactions with all stakeholders such as Customers, Client Service Managers, Payroll and Billing
- Being a safety champion and ensure that safety is factored into all rostering operations
To be successful you will possess:
- Demonstrated experience in a multi-site rostering position
- Qualifications in Administration, Business, HR or Payroll
- Intermediate to advanced skills using MS Word and MS Excel
- Superior communication skills, written, verbal, and reporting.
- Knowledge in the operation of a computer-based roster system
- Knowledge of the Security or Aviation Industry (desirable)
