Catering HQ is looking for a proactive and dynamic Restaurant & Catering Operations Manager to join our Executive Team to assist in developing and enhancing our restaurants across multiple venues.

THE ROLE:
The Restaurant & Catering Operations Manager will be responsible to ensure that our culture, values and processes will be adhered to across the group. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role working alongside our restaurant managers on the floor and you will need to move and think quickly to be able to keep up. You will be required to assist venues on peak trading days and support where required.
To be effective in this role, you must be able to adjust your communication style to speak candidly and kindly with a venue’s management and staff about where they are succeeding and where they may be struggling to meet their goals, as well as providing potential solutions.
Some of your key responsibilities are:
- Proactive leadership, coaching and development of our restaurant managers, supervisors and their team.
- Encourage and empower your team to work end to end together, creating a customer and team first culture.
- Lead and inspire your team through role modelling the Catering HQ values and ways of working efficiently.
- Manage our restaurants to achieve sales growth targets, customer feedback and compliance standards.
- Assisting the team to meet and exceed venue KPI’s on Labour and Cost of Goods
- Maintain quality and service standards across our venues
- Continually review, monitor and improve restaurant operations, ensuring consistency and exceptional customer service standards.
- Assist with the operational coordination of all new restaurant openings and ensure the new Restaurant Managers and teams are trained and guided through the process.
- Develop talent pipelines and future leaders by providing regular feedback to your team, creating meaningful development plan and ensuring succession and ongoing capability is maintained.
KEY QUALITIES:
- Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in the same or similar role
- Have multi-site management hospitality experience
- Innovative, forward thinking and resilient and an ability to adapt and lead teams through change
- Proven ability to keep teams aligned to future growth & strategic priorities whilst executing business initiatives
- Confidence to take charge and own the result, yet humble enough to listen and learn
- Honest and results focused - able to give and receive genuine feedback and take action as needed
- Innovative - proven experience of genuinely implementing new ideas
- Exceptional customer service ethic and high expectations for quality
- Keen eye for business development strategies and ability to collaborate in a team environment
- Have excellent interpersonal skills and adaptability to different situations and style
- Be able to build credible relationships at all levels

- Own transport is required
