Cater Care is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Operations Manager to join our team in Parramatta. As part of the Operations department, this permanent, full-time position offers an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to make a significant impact in our organisation. The Senior Operations Manager will be responsible for:
- Overseeing and managing daily operational activities
- Developing and implementing operational policies and procedures
- Leading and motivating the operations team to achieve performance targets
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
- Identifying areas for process improvement and implementing solutions
- Collaborating with other departments to streamline operations and enhance overall efficiency
- Monitoring key performance indicators and preparing regular reports for senior management
- Managing budgets and resources effectively to optimise operational costs
- Contributing to the development of strategic plans to support organisational growth
- Maintaining strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders

Key Attributes required for the position:
- High level of QA, WH&S, HACCP, and Food Safety knowledge.
- Good understanding and knowledge of Aged Care legislation and Accreditation standards
- Possess the ability to develop strong and effective client relationships
- The ability to management multiple sectors within hospitality
- Passion for exceptional customer service and food quality
Key Criteria:
- Trade Qualified Chef and Diploma in Management (or equivalent)
- 5+ years' experience in a similar multi-site role - aged care experience essential
- Demonstrated budget and cost management experience
- Previous experience as a manager and sound knowledge of contract catering requirements in aged care
- Neat presentation and attention to detail
- Passionate and enthusiastic
- A team player who has the potential to lead and encourage other team members to get the best from them
- Empathy towards residents, staff, and clients
- Excellent client liaison skills
- Valid Driver’s License
