Sofitel Melbourne is looking for a passionate and collaborative Restaurant Chef to join their team in the award winning No35 Restaurant.
No35 Restaurant offers sophisticated modern dining surrounded by contemporary artwork and breathtaking views of Melbourne CBD.
Be the motivation, inspiration and creative genius who leads our restaurant kitchen team to deliver a spectacular menu, to continually exceed the expectation of our distinguished guests.
You will be responsible for all preparation, presentation, cooking techniques and food standards in line with a HACCP and ISO 22000 as well as Green Globe standards.
Qualifications
- Considerable previous experience in a similar role and scale in a 5 star environment
- Must have worked in Melbourne or Sydney in a high end restaurant
- Be able to demonstrate creativity and flair in menu and meal design
- Be able to use leaderships skills to maintain a cohesive kitchen team
- Ability to work a rotating roster including weeknights, weekends and public holidays
- Understanding of and the ability to maintain food safety standards and HACCP
- Ensure food standards, preparation, presentation and cooking techniques meet hotel standards and maintained at that level.
