About us:
Frédéric, Reymond Family groups venture in Cremorne seeks hardworking and energetic experienced Sous Chef and Chef de Partie to join our young and dynamic kitchen team. Located in the heart of Cremorne, Frederic comprises two dining offerings – Fred’s, a relaxed all day eatery and wine bar, and Frederic Bistro, a European-style restaurant serving uncomplicated European fair. The successful candidates must be passionate about food, keen to showcase their ability in fast-paced environment and display reliability.
Sous Chef:
Experience is essential so you will have at least 3 years experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role. In addition you will have:
- Knowledge of local and global cuisine trends
- Exceptional communication and excellent attention to detail
- Strong people management skills
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and lead a team
- Demonstrate positive attitude and genuine interest in the day to day operations
- Use correct techniques and follow procedures and recipes when preparing and cooking menu items
- Outstanding time management during preparation and service periods
- Calm and composed demeanour
- Qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent experience
Chef de Partie
- At least 2 years kitchen experience, working across multiple sections
- An ability to work and control your section in a fast paced environment
