We are currently seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to join our Blu Bar team.
The Venue
Located on Level 36, the top level of the Shangri-La Sydney, you'll feel like you are flying in the sky while looking at the harbour Bridge and opera house on one side and Barangaroo o the other. With its premium location, Blu bar offers the best spot for our guests to oversee one of the most iconic landmarks.
The Role
We are looking for an experienced Restaurant Manager to join this well-established favourite. You will be managing the day-to-day operations of this bustling bar. Blu Bar is not only a dispensing bar for the restaurant but a popular choice for a cocktail and a sophisticated choice for social drinks.
You will lead and develop a team, drive revenue, understand and manage stock, define and design the product offering and ensure the bar's ambiance is always on point.
We are searching for an authentic bar enthusiast with solid and passionate cocktails and spirits knowledge. It would be best if you were a self-starter driven to succeed in this role. We are taking the team with you on a creative journey to ensure that we deliver an exceptional guest experience and an outstanding product.

Requirements
- Competent and creative cocktail skills
- Experience working in similar style venues either in New Zealand, Australia, or internationally
- Drive to make a positive impact on every guest's experience
- Energy, motivation, and a positive attitude
- A customer focus paired with a passion for providing excellent hospitality

- The ability to engage customers and build relationships with the regular patrons
- Minimum two years' experience similar roles and venue
