Restaurant Manager
We are currently seeking a Restaurant Manager that thrives on a positive team culture and work within a stable environment.
The Restaurant Manager responsibilities includes assisting maintaining the restaurant’s revenue, profitability and quality goals. You will ensure efficient restaurant operation, as well as maintain high quality and customer-service standards.
To be successful in this role, you’ll need management skills and experience in front of house. We want you to know how to oversee the dining room, check-in with customers and balance seating capacity.
We’ll expect you to lead by example and lead our staff during busy moments in our fast-paced environment. Ultimately, you will ensure our restaurant runs smoothly and customers have pleasant dining experiences.
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE:
We’re excited to hear from candidates who have experience working within a Chinese restaurant or similar. You must possess the “can do attitude” and be fun and flexible. Have the ability to communicate clearly and while positively influencing team behaviour and performance.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Coordinate and assist with daily Front of the House restaurant operations
• Deliver superior service and drive customer satisfaction
• Respond efficiently and accurately to customer enquiries
• Organize and supervise shifts
• Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity
• Stock control
• Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste
• Promote the brand in the local community through word-of-mouth and restaurant events
• Train new and current employees on proper customer service practices
• Implement policies and protocols that will maintain future restaurant operations
REQUIREMENTS
• Proven work experience as a Restaurant Manager, Restaurant Manager, or similar role
• Proven customer service experience as a manager
• Familiarity with restaurant management software, like OpenTable
• Strong leadership, motivational and people skills
• Acute financial management skills
• Mandarin speaker preferred
Must have minimum 2 years' experience or a Diploma inHospitality management
