SalaryRemuneration : 5 day a week role, includes weekends + tips + super + staff benefits + meals.
We seek a Restaurant Manager to work closely with our venue manager and directors.
You will have a minimum 1 year restaurant management experience within a busy restaurant and have spent a minimum of 4 years within the hospitality industry.
This role is to run an 80 seat venue, with a busy takeout component.
Excellent levels of communication to lead and manage both floor and bar team, along with having a great relationship with our head chef.The right candidate will have sound technical knowledge of IMPOS, EXCEL Seven Rooms or similar booking platform, Ubereats.
- Must have the ability to interview, hire, induct and train new recruits if and when required.
- Be an excellent communicator, both written and verbal
- Be proficient in the opening and closing of a venue.
- Understand Occupational Health & Safety
- Food Safety
- Dealing with Council,Food inspectors
- Proficient Ordering, stocktaking and forecasting
- Credit Card use, nightly reporting, roster forecasting & budgeting, Managing pars of venue equipments, wine, liquor etc.
- Hold a current RSA Card,
- Have experience with suppliers across all natures of the business including, food, beverage, trades.
