Join our vibrant team at beloved casual Greek restaurant located in the heart of Southbank. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Manager to lead a team. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and training skills, along with expertise in financial reporting and business operations. Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional leadership and mentor ship to our restaurant staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Oversee day-to-day operations, including staffing, scheduling, and inventory management, to ensure efficient and smooth service.
- Implement and enforce high standards for service quality, cleanliness, and food safety, in accordance with industry regulations and company policies.
- Develop and execute strategies to optimise profitability and enhance the overall guest experience.
- Conduct regular financial analysis and reporting, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control measures.
- Implement training programs to continuously improve staff performance and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to develop and refine menu offerings, ensuring alignment with our brand identity and customer preferences.
- Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional and timely manner, striving to resolve issues.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar role, preferably in a Greek cuisine restaurant or similar hospitality setting.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team of 25+
- Proficiency in financial reporting and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- In-depth knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards, along with relevant industry regulations.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to accommodate the needs of the business.
- Certification in food safety and/or hospitality management is a plus.
