About the Location
Our F&B operations located at the One Mile Beach Café and Middle Rock Holiday Resort are looking for a Restaurant Manager to lead the team! As a Restaurant Manager, you will be reporting and working with the F&B Operations Manager, ensuring all guests receive the best culinary experience.
About the Role
We are seeking a friendly & professional Restaurant Manager to lead our team. This position will be responsible for leading and training the team, delivering fantastic customer service whilst maintaining a high quality of food and beverage products. You will also be active in ensuring the efficient and effective operation of the venue as well as overseeing all cleaning and sanitation involved in production and service.
Key Accountabilities
- Provide a safe environment for all team members and guests by understanding and delivering HSE company and industrial standards
- Manage front and back of house responsibilities, till and POS station, company platforms, and lead the team in creating a positive and harmonious atmosphere
- Ensure the quality and flavour of our food is maintained to the highest standard
- Effective time management skills ensuring all daily responsibilities are completed in a timely manner and utilising spare time proactively
- Ensure all produce is used to its full potential and wastage is maintained at a minimum
- Comply with, and ensure customers comply with RSA
- Development of weekly rosters to ensure adequate coverage at all times
About You
- Proven capability to manage multiple staff members and an ability to give constructive feedback when required
- Demonstrated cooking and food preparation experience
- Ability to identify problem areas and to use initiative and effective communication skills to resolve these issues
- Current RSA accreditation
- Food Safety Supervisor or Food Safety Training Accreditation
- Knowledge of HACCP and an understanding of how it relates to our Food Safety Program
- Demonstrated understanding of budgets and cost control with strong administrative skills
