Seeking a passionate, creative and dedicated Restaurant Manager to join the Teddy Larkin's team and lead this established Northern Beaches steakhouse.
Teddy Larkin's Seafood & Steakhouse houses a stunning fitout and state of the art kitchen, overlooking the Freshwater headland on Sydney's Northern Beaches. Loved by locals and visitors for quality steaks, ribs and succulent seafood dishes.
About the role
Key Responsibilities:
- Rostering and supervising bar and wait staff
- Continuous training of bar and wait staff to ensure current knowledge
- Take reservations, greet guests and assist in taking orders
- General running of restaurant business day to day
- Planning menus in consultation with Chefs
- Planning and organising special functions
- Maintaining records of stock levels and financial transactions
- Ensuring restaurant standards and staff policies are met
- Conferring with customers to assess their satisfaction with meals and service
- Maintaining and updating FOH systems for rostering and reservations
- Profitability of the restaurant through managing revenue, expenditure and wages

Skills and experience
Who we're looking for:
A positive leader with an attitude and personality to succeed in this fast paced, dynamic environment:
- At least 1 year experience as a Restaurant Manager in a leading restaurant environment
- Australian working rights
- A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences
- Demonstrated ability to resolve issues
- Work efficiently under pressure
- Well-presented, organised, positive and calm personality
- Financial management capabilities with the ability to manage budgets, wage costs
- Ability to develop ideas to enhance customer service
- Ability to create ideas for marketing and advertising
- Great communication skills both with customers and staff. Lead from the front.
- Fluent with MS programs, Deputy and NowBookit, or similar systems
