Restaurant Manager

Woods & Co Recruitment is seeking a talented Restaurant Manager for our partnered dynamic restaurant located in Docklands, adjacent to Marvel Stadium. This establishment boasts multiple levels and has the capacity to host 150 guests for cocktails and 80 for smart casual dining.

As the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for managing daily operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house activities. 

We are seeking candidates with previous experience as a Restaurant Manager in a high-volume establishment. Strong leadership skills and a hands-on management approach are crucial, as is experience in event coordination and administration tasks.

• $80,000 - $85,000 + super.

What do you do?

• Manage daily operations of the restaurant, including front-of-house and back-of-house activities.
• Oversee kitchen operations and ensure the highest standards of food quality and presentation.
• Lead and mentor a dedicated team, providing training and guidance as needed.
• Handle event coordination and management, leveraging experience in running events to ensure seamless execution.
• Manage reservations and bookings, utilising expertise in utilising booking platforms.
• Maintain accurate records, including timesheets and administrative tasks as required.
• Uphold the venue's commitment to excellence in customer service, ensuring adherence to the sequence of service and standards of operation.

What do you need? 

• Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager with a la carte service.
• Strong leadership skills and a hands-on approach to management.
• Experience in event execution and coordination.
• Proficiency in administration tasks, including timesheets and reporting.
• Passion for hospitality.
• Knowledge of booking platforms and experience managing bookings for a multilevel venue.
• Understanding of sequence of service and commitment to upholding high standards.
• Valid driver's licence and access to own vehicle.
• Wine knowledge and experience managing beverage programs is preferred.
