Looking for a fresh start? We have an exciting opportunity for a Full-Time Restaurant Manager to join our brand new Chino Latino Restaurant, Casa Chino with over 100 seats, in Brunswick, Melbourne about to open in April 2024!

The Role:
Restaurant Manager
- Minimum 5 years experience in hospitality is preferred
- Manage, lead and supervise daily restaurant/bar operation and staff to ensure positive, safe and productive environment
- Exceptional service skills and guest focussed
- Adaptable, reliable and able to perform in high-pressured service periods
- Demonstrated ability to work well autonomously and in a team environment
- Experience with POS
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral
Responsible for:
- Liaise with guests and being the ‘face’ of the restaurant
- Roster and approve all payroll of all staff through Tanda on a weekly basis
- Ensuring all events and bookings are promptly organized and well executed
- Ensure that all beverages are served to a consistently rock star standard
- Ensure that the restaurant remains in an impeccable state of presentation
- Ensure all opening and closing procedures and sequences of service are followed correctly
- Maintain hygienic food handling practices and cleanliness of all waiting and bar staff
- Ensure the accurate and honest balancing of the cash register at the end of the shift
- Maintain bar/restaurant inventory according to stock levels and re-ordering when needed
- Support the Head Chef in maintaining a harmonious environment between kitchen and floor
- Handle complaints according to guidelines and so that it leaves customers satisfied and impressed
- Interview, select, induct and orientate floor and bar staff
- Maintain wage costs to budget guidelines and drive customer spending above agreed targets
About you:
