We are seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to join our new restaurant located in Queanbeyan. Being part of the leadership team, you will drive and manage the day-today running of the restaurant ensuring that patrons are receiving excellent food and drinks service. This is a fast-paced, hands-on position that will involve overseeing and supervising staff on shift, setting up restaurant for service and functions, maximising customer satisfaction, cash handling, opening and closing the venue, staff training and development of supporting bar and front of house staff. Tasks:
- Oversee day-to-day restaurant operations, ensuring seamless service and a positive customer experience.
- Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing team. Foster a positive work environment and lead by example.
- Focus on delivering top-notch customer service. Address customer concerns and feedback to enhance overall satisfaction.
- Manage budgets, control costs, and optimize profitability. Implement strategies to meet revenue targets.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, as well as other legal requirements. Uphold industry standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with chefs to create innovative and appealing menus. Monitor food quality and presentation.
- Ensuring dining facilities comply with health regulations and are clean, functional and of suitable appearance.
Requirements:
- Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma in Hospitality
- At least (3) years of relevant experience
- Proven work experience as a Kitchen Manager/ Restaurant Manager
- Good Communication & Leadership Skills
- Ability to actively solve problems, priorities tasks and lead from the front
- Hands-on experience creating kitchen processes and ordering ingredients
- Knowledge of a wide range of Indian Food.
- Familiarity with kitchen sanitation and safety regulations.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Conflict management abilities.
- Ability to manage a team in a fast-paces work environment.
- Flexibility to work during evenings and weekends.
