- This role is Permanent Full-time, 76hrs/fortnight.
- This name of this position internally is Unit Food Commercial Manager
- As our store operates 7 days per week, you must have the availability to work a rotating roster with a mix of day and evening shifts. You also have the availability to work alternating weekend shifts (both Saturday and Sunday).
- As part of the recruitment process this role requires a pre-employment check for final candidates.
Team vision (text) As a Food Commercial Manager your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Leading and implementing the commercial strategy and commercial calendar, as well as the IKEA Food communication and cross merchandising strategy in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
- Strong customer service skills, ensuring a seamless food customer experience within all Food areas.
- Securing excellence in operations and high-quality standards of customer experience in all Food areas and optimised levels of commerciality are achieved.
- Securing the correct competence within the IKEA Food team.
- Developing and improving the Food business by seeking and acting upon customer feedback.
- Contributing to the creation and implementation of the unit business plan and the IKEA Food business plan, and ensuring food is connected to the store commercial calendar.
- Looking after Swedish Food Market as well as the Swedish restaurant.

- A passion for food and a drive to achieve commercial success with a strategic mindset.
- A strong understanding of commerciality, you can influence and negotiate effectively to position the IKEA Food function as a profitable business.
- Excellent communication skills and you can articulate and co-collaborate with various stakeholders.
- Extremely efficient time management skills to ensure projects and tasks are delivered in a timely manner.
- Experience in managing budgets and analysing P&Ls, you have a strong understanding of gross margin and top-line sales.
- A competent and strong leader, able to implement and develop IKEA processes as well as focusing on the growth of your co-worker.
