Restaurant Manager (Full-time)

Our restaurant, Peach Village is a Chinese restaurant located in Maryborough and we are looking for a qualified and experienced Restaurant Manager who is passionate about the food and hospitality industry to join our team. Prior experience in efficiently managing a busy Chinese restaurant will be highly considered and the candidate must be able to work under pressure.

For this awesome opportunity you will need:

·       Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a busy Chinese restaurant will be highly preferred.

·       At least a Diploma qualification in Management.

·       Must have prior experience in a Chinese restaurant setting.

·       Passion for Chinese cuisine.

·       Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

·       Fantastic communication skills.

·       Ability to work under high pressure.

·       Outstanding organisational and management skills.

Key Responsibilities include:

·       Arranging the purchasing and pricing of goods and stocks according to budget.

·       Coordinating the entire operation of the restaurant during scheduled shifts.

·       Training, supervising and managing staff and providing them with feedback.

·       Responding to customer complaints.

·       Ensuring that all employees adhere to the company's uniform standards.

·       Preparing reports at the end of the shift/week, including staff control, food control and sales.

·       Meeting and greeting customers and organising table reservations.

·       Maintaining high standards of quality control, hygiene, and health and safety.

·       Checking stock levels and ordering supplies.

·       Preparing cash drawers and providing petty cash as required.

·       Helping in any area of the restaurant when circumstances dictate.

·       Ensuring dining facilities comply with health regulations and are clean, functional and of suitable appearance.

·       Speaking to customers to assess their satisfaction with meals and service in the restaurant.

Remuneration: $70,000 per annum (plus 11% superannuation)
