Job Summary:
As a Restaurant Supervisor at Cicerone, you will help oversee the daily operations of our establishment, ensuring that our restaurant provides exceptional service to all guests. The position is a hands-on role, being in charge of a section during service and supporting the Restaurant Manager with support duties, staff training, and venue opening/closing. Our ideal candidate will be a leader with a passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Working in a section during service
- Assist the Restaurant Manager in managing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant.
- Supervise staff, provide them with the training and resources needed to perform their jobs, and ensure the correct induction of new employees.
- Ensure all employees are working within the guidelines of the restaurant’s policies and procedures.
- Oversee guest services and resolve issues efficiently.
- Manage the restaurant’s good image and suggest ways to improve it.
- Implement policies and protocols that will maintain future restaurant operations.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a senior wait staff or similar supervisory role in the hospitality industry. Strong leadership, motivational, and people skills.
- In-depth knowledge of restaurant operations.
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
- Proficiency in Point of Sale (POS) and reservation software.
