Bombora Seafood is a premier seafood restaurant / café situated right on Wollongong Harbour. Bombora serves modern Australian cuisine for breakfast and lunch 7 days a week and dinners on Friday and Saturday
Bombora is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to start an apprenticeship as a Restaurant Supervisor
You will be passionate about hospitality and delivering brilliant customer experiences, have a strong customer focused mentality and outgoing energy. You will also have;
- Experience supervising and leading a team (ideally minimum 2 year experience in a supervisor/leader position)
- Proactive, strong communicator and high level of attention to detail
- Strong working knowledge of food and beverage service
Roles and Responsibilities
- Reporting to the owners
- You will be accountable for the delivery of high-quality customer service & the on-going supervision during shifts
- Lead a highly engaged team, focused on delivering & exceptional customer experience, in line with the company values & expectations
- Rostering from time to time
- Stock control & ordering
- Menu development
- Staff training
- Work collaboratively & proactively with owners & key personnel within the group.
- Available to work both day and evening shifts
- Supervising a team and running shifts including cash up and close procedures
- Strong knowledge of food and wine
- Practice correct workplace health and safety procedures
- Conflict resolution skills
- Lead by example at all times
- High level of attention to detail
